The slate-quarry is open from April till the end of October.
Monday - friday: from 8am am to5 pm
Saturday: from 10am to 5pm
Sunday & holiday: on request
In winter you should prefer calling the administrator befor you visit the quarry.

In the slate-quarry you can look for fossils on your own.
You should mention:
- solid shoes
- long trousers
- Gloves
- hammer (weight over 500 gramm)
- chisel (width over 4 cm)
- bag
- first aid kit
please stay away from heavy machinery and do not leave any trash.           Thank you
